Mikasa Railroad Village

The Mikasa Railroad Village operates a real steam locomotive (SL) type “S-304” with miniature railcars, and railcars that have seen active service in Hokkaido are exhibited.
The Railroad Memorial Museum exhibits miniature steam locomotives such as the “D51” and “Benkeigo”, showing them as they appeared in active service, and there are other valuable exhibits from the Meiji Period, as well as there are time tables, railway staff uniforms, parts of steam locomotives, signals, and many other railway memorabilia used in the Taisho and Showa Eras.
